Potato love at Alsum Farms & Produce Fall Festival & Tater Trot 5K

2021

Alsum Farms & Produce hosted nearly 100 runners, walkers, and local FFA supporters at the 4th Annual Alsum Fall Festival and Tater Trot 5K Run/2 Mile Walk on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Friesland, Wisconsin. The event created excitement around the nutritional benefits of potatoes with Potatoes USA’s performance branded material, delicious potato samples and the Wisconsin Spudmobile and Spudly, Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Gowers promotion vehicle and mascot. Not only is this an event loved by the locals as a way to celebrate potato harvest and the vegetable’s healthy halo, it is an opportunity to raise money for the Local FFA Chapters. This year the community helped raise over $3,000 to benefit six local FFA Chapters!
