- What’s a Strava Challenge? Strava is a popular fitness tracking app, and Strava Challenges are a fun way to motivate people to accomplish a specific goal while educating them on a fitness-related topic. Team Potato often uses Strava Challenges to raise awareness of nutritional benefits unique to the spud with everyday athletes.
The “Boost Mode” challenge required participants to track three workouts of at least 30 minutes each between October 13 and 27 to match the 30% daily value of vitamin C provided by a medium, skin-on potato. Those who completed the challenge earned a “Boost Mode” Team Potato badge, and they were entered to win an Oura Ring (a smart ring that tracks health metrics) and a Team Potato swag pack.
