The Potato Research Advisory Committee
The Potato Research Advisory Committee (PRAC) serves as the primary national research strategy development and execution vehicle for the U.S. potato industry.
PRAC aligns both the long- and short-term objectives of the potato research community, ensuring that proposals are more competitive, relevant and broadly supported by all stakeholders.
From its inception in 2016, PRAC has helped generate momentum around the most promising areas in industry science and technology. Potato research has seen a sizable spike in funding over the past few years, attributable in part to PRAC’s advocacy.
