Team Potato athlete hosts a virtual cooking demo

For months, Team Potato members have been inspiring each other with their personal performance stories and pictures of their potato fueled dishes on the Team Potato Facebook group. One team member, Wajiha Naushad, continues to pique the interest and tempt tastebuds with her global potato dishes, so she was a perfect choice to lead the first, virtual, Team Potato event.

In mid-October, team members were welcomed into Naushad’s kitchen via Zoom to cook alongside her as she demonstrated two of her favorite Pakistani potato recipes. The potato patties with green chutney and potatoes with green onions looked delicious, and everyone enjoyed hearing Naushad’s tips and tricks while they shared theirs along the way.

The virtual event was a fun way for Team Potato to come together and engage with one another. Team members appreciated the strong sense of community and are looking forward to the next member-led event. Join the Team Potato Facebook group so that you can participate too!
